Legends Tskaltubo SPA & Resort
The Tskaltubo balneological resort is famous for its natural sources of warm radon water, which have a high concentration of uranium and radium. These waters are used for the prevention and treatment of various health conditions.
The healing properties of Tskaltubo’s radon waters were first mentioned in the 11th century. In the 1970s, the resort even had a crutch museum, showcasing those left behind by successfully treated patients.
